Huff Park. After several overcast days and before that some rain, the stream flows clear and steady on its way to the Grand River.
Huff Park. Falling leaves on Halloween morning: Weighted by last night's frost, the breeze knocks down groups of leaves, a little at a time.
Ball-Perkins Park pond. The cold temperatures of the night before created a layer of thin ice over the pond. By now the hibernators are in the mud and the migrating birds mostly have left behind this island of green in the city.
Backyard. This morning was bright and dry, so the fall leaves lit up nicely while the sun was still low in the sky.
A few days before Halloween. Outdoors the wind in the trees and moving clouds offer flicker effects to the shadows cast through the window onto this shower curtain.
