Sun is moving south for the coming fall and winter, so shadows are warmer and more angled. School is about a week, following the Labor Day holiday coming up. Lots of rain last week, so the grass is happy and so is the lawn wildlife. A toad crossed my path one evening while walking the dog!
Football season began the past Friday and the marching band took the field with the routines they mastered during their summer camp.
